AWANA is a bible-centered ministry. Its emphasis is on developing a personal relationship with Jesus through scripture memorization (handbook time) and biblical lessons focusing on life application (council time). AWANA’s goal is to reach boys and girls and their families with the good news of Christ and train them to serve Him. AWANA also teaches children through game time and LIT (Leaders in Training, part of the High School program) to learn the importance of being team members, responding to authority, and learning discipline, all within a biblical world view.
